Concert Date
Our annual concert for 2008 will be held on Saturday 22 November
at the Kel Watson Theatre. More information will become
available as the date draws nearer.
Stage Rehearsal
Stage Rehearsal for Subbies, Inters and Seniors
is on Sunday 22 June at Kel Watson Theatre. Please keep this
date free as attendance by all girls is absolutely necessary.

Camp 2008
Inters camp was held on the weekend of 16, 17 and 18 May at Mt.
Moreton Lodge, Belgrave Heights. A wonderful time was had by all
who attended. A big thank you to the girls for working so hard,
a lot of work was taught over the weekend. Thank you also
to Elizabeth, Kathryn and Emma for the dedication to the Club
and the girls. Finally, thank you to the mums who attended
for their help with sewing and beading.
Competition Dates
Some of you have
been asking when will you find out the dates of competitions ..
As soon as we have the dates we will let you know. We are
hoping that they will be available within the next week or two.
Fees Outstanding
Please
note that all Term 1 and 2 fees should have now been paid.
If you are behind a reminder request for payment will be sent
out.
Mt. District Canteen
As most of you
are aware this is the Club’s major fundraising event for the
year. We ask that you support this event by volunteering your
time on the roster which is available in the kitchen at the
hall. So when you drop off or pick up your child, please come
in and commit to working a shift at the competition.
Funds raised are used to support the club and help to keep the
fees you pay to a minimum.
Internet Usage
Over the past few months our governing body, CVI, has been
monitoring sites such as
‘myspace’
and
‘facebook’
for inappropriate usage & posting of comments, pictures etc. by
members of the calisthenic community.
The Club is requesting that all members who frequent sites such
as these do not to participate in such conduct.
The Club also asks that you set your pages to private allowing
viewing by invited friends only.
Please also note that the posting of team photographs is
infringing copyright laws. If you have posted team photos from
previous years, the club is requesting that your remove them
immediately.
