Dress Code

Brindabella Calisthenics College has a compulsory dress code for classes. The dress code encourages self discipline in pupils which is important in all forms of sport and dance. Dress uniformity allows the coaches to concentrate on the choreography without visual distraction and contributes to the precision and overall performance of the team.

All students must attend class dressed in the following:
- black leotard
- hair in a bun and pinned off the face.
Flesh coloured footless leggings are optional. No shoes are required.

The following items are required for the calisthenics year:
- Black leotard
- Aesthetic skirt (up to and including Sub-Juniors wear white, Juniors and above wear black)
- Clubs and rod (available through the College)
- Skin coloured body suit &/or underpants (required for competitions to be worn under stage costumes)
- Stage make-up (the College does provide some make-up but for safety and hygiene each girl must supply her own lipstick (colour to be advised by coach), makeup sponge, black mascara and eyeliner).

Below is a list of local suppliers for your calisthenics needs.
