Class attendance
Regular attendance to every scheduled class is always encouraged. The club recognizes that some class absences by individuals is inevitable due to a variety of reasons e.g. illness, school functions, family commitments and work obligations.

In order to celebrate and recognize an individuals' service to the Bundoora Calisthenics Club, guidelines have been put in place for those who strive to receive acknowledgement and recognition for their efforts and commitment. A pupil can miss up to four (4) classes in a Calisthenic year to be eligible for an attendance certificate.

Further information relating to Continuous Years of Service Award and Years of Service with a Leave Period Award is available in The Bundoora Calisthenics Club Handbook 2009.

Class Rules
  • Parents/family members in the hall while class is in progress are asked not to distract the coach or pupils.
  • Coaches may ask parents/family members to leave the main hall if they feel their presence is distracting the class.
  • Children not involved in classes must remain under the strict supervision of parents and are not to be left unattended.
  • Parents/family members are not to approach coaches during class times. All communication is to be handled through your group representative.
  • If you feel it is necessary to speak with a Coach about any aspect of a pupil's participation, please contact them after class or by phone.
  • It is the role of the Coach to teach pupils during class time, not parents/family members.
Drop off and pick up of pupils
Pupils are expected to be present at the hall and under parent supervision 15 minutes prior to the commencement of their class. Please use this time to prepare for class-i.e-dress appropriately and ensure all necessary equipment is ready e.g. rods, clubs, practice skirt. Parents are required to collect pupils from inside the hall at the finish of each class. In order to maximize safety, please do not leave your children outside the hall unattended.
