Skills
Pupil Skills , set by the
ACF ( Australian Calisthenics Federation), these skills assess the
individual in Calisthenic technique and results are used as a
prerequisite for coaching and solo work.
Donvale Calisthenics Club
began it's Calisthenics Pupil Skills Program in May 2000.
Benefits of Pupil Skills
are numerous - recognition of individual achievements, improvement in
personal technique and presentation, working at your own level and
pace, gaining more confidence in performing, a better understanding of
terminology experiencing different work, enhancing class/team work.
Results/Success - A
candidate receives an individual critique paper from the adjudicator
and the results are registered with the ACF as this is a nationally
recognized program. Successful candidates also receive a
certificate, which is presented at class and a cloth badge (see below)
which is worn with pride on the sleeve of our Club Tracksuit.
