Welcome Back to all of our wonderful Merinda Girls and Families and of course a very warm welcome to our new members and their families. 

State Team 2010
Merinda has a lot to cheer about when it comes to the 2010 National Championships.  The Nationals were held over the school holidays in Canberra.  A big congratulations to the girls who represented Merinda in this years State Team.  The Seniors, with Kate, Louise and Jessica, won their section and their assistant coach was our very own Sue Beattie.  The Inters, with Rebecca, also won their section!  Congratulations also to Marilyn Jones who was the Manager of the State Team.
Kate and Jessica also won their Duo! Well Done Girls!

Outstanding Achievements
Congratulations to Jess Broughan on making the Ballarat Graceful Girl final and to Kate and Jess on making the Nationals in their duo.  Jess and Kate will be profiled in the next edition of Merinda Magic.

Waverley Competitions
The Waverley Competitions are just around the corner and the Waverley Roster is almost out and about!  We NEED YOUR HELP in order to successfully run this competition as we rely on volunteer assistance.  There is no doubt that the contributions made from the Waverley Competition assist the committee in keeping general costs to a minimum.  Please, EVERY family needs to put their name down ONCE on the roster.

Levels Exams
All girls who recently did their levels have passed. Well done—Charlotte, Tahnee and Keely for passing Grade 1 and Rebecca and Kelly for passing Grade 4. Thanks to Leanne Hornsby for coaching the girls.

CVI and Ballarat Tickets
Ballarat ticket forms will be circulated shortly. Please note that CVI Senior Champ Section tickets need to be pre-ordered.  They can be ordered through Clublink.

Masters Class in 2011
Masters is for anyone over the age of 26 years. It can be recreational or Competitive. Merinda once held a Recreational Masters Class and is looking at re-starting a Masters Class in 2011 but would like to gain interest to see whether we do Recreational/Competitive or both. If interested please see the attached form.
