the Pinnacle of the Pupil Skills. |
Merinda has had
many girls sit through medal exams each year, and
we congratulate the following who have received
their Medals.

The 'Gold Medal' exam is the highest
attainable award.
It is truly an honour to achieve such a high award.
The Gold Medal is a
3-part exam:
Part A :
Technical Skills
Part B:
3 Pre-choreographed routine performances
Part C: Gold medal Honours – Stage Performance
The Gold Medal Exam
is considered by the Calisthenic world of high
importance. Girls must obtain a 60% pass or higher
of each individual movement. If one movement is
failed then the whole exam is failed.
Candidates who attain a total of 85%
for the technical and pre-choreographed sections
will be eligible to complete the stage presentation
segment in front of a competition audience.
Provided candidates achieve an aggregate percentage
of 90% for the technical & Pre-choreographed
segment and the stage presentation, they will be
awarded 'Gold Medal Honours', truly the highest of
awards in calisthenics.
