Congratulations to our Junior RSSS winners!
In their first appearance on the Ballarat stage, the Sterling Junior
Team won the Division 6 Aggregate.
Also congratulations go to our Sub Junior team who
gave their best performances for the year on the beautiful Her Majesty’s
stage, and were placed in five items.

CONGRATULATIONS
to our Intermediate Team – State Champions 2008!
After jumping
up two divisions, our beautiful Intermediate team has pulled off a
stunning win at the recent State Championships…. 2nd for
Clubs & Spec, 1st for Rods, Aesthetics and Song & Dance –
overall winning by 4 points. Congratulations to each and every member
for a fantastic result following all your hard work!
CONGRATULATIONS
to our Tinies Team – State Champions 2008!
Even though CVI
doesn’t recognise aggregates for any Tinies section, our gorgeous girls
received two 1st places and two 2nd places, which
gave them the highest overall score for the competition.
Congratulations girls! You were an absolute delight to watch on stage!

WELCOME
On the 11th August, a gorgeous little baby boy by the name of
Lachlan was welcomed into the world – congratulations to the proud
parents Nicole and Dean (and of course the proud Grandmother Gwen!)

THURSDAY CLASSES
As
of Thursday 4th September we will be recommencing Skills Classes.
This examination period covers Test 1, Test 2, Test 3, Grade 1 and Grade
2 only. (as of 2009 there will only be two examination periods – June &
November – and all grades and tests will be available at both)
Until numbers are finalised, we plan to run all tests and grades at
7.00-8.00pm. However, if there are large numbers of younger pupils
wanting to do the tests, we will run an extra class at 6.00-7.00pm to
cover this requirement. Refer to the class noticeboard for further
details closer to the starting date.
THE LADIES FITNESS CLASS WILL CONTINUE AT 8.00-9.00pm
Congratulations to all of our solo girls for their beautiful
performances at their competitions this year. The solo season is now
over, but you will get to see all 5 girls performing at our Annual
Display in November – the Juniors will appear at the afternoon concert,
and the Inters and Seniors at the evening concert.
